ABOUT US
I have lived with a rare cancer for over 30 years. When my doctor finally gave me a surgery date, I wanted to get everything in order — just in case things went south. One thing I wished for was to choose my own urn, so my family wouldn’t have to wonder if I would have liked it or not. But I couldn’t find one that felt right. One day, I saw a pattern my wife was designing for her project, and I asked if we could use that pattern for my urn. That’s how our humble urn journey began. We don’t have many designs yet — but when inspiration touches our hearts, we add more. Each piece is created to bring a little calm and beauty to a time when it’s needed most.If you’d like gentle support, we’ve shared practical, loving steps in our "How to Prepare for Peaceful Closure"post below — so you can give your family calm so you can give your family calm and peace of mind. From our family to yours, we sincerely hope these urns bring you comfort and peace.
How To Prepare for Peaceful Closure
(and What To Prepare Too)
Most people don’t delay preparing because they don’t care — they delay because life is already so full. Work, kids, stress, caring for someone you love — it leaves little room to think about the “what ifs.”But when we delay too long, we leave our families to handle it all in a rush, right when they’re hurting most. When I was living with cancer, we talked about everything — even the hardest parts. Before my surgery, I wished to get things in order, just in case. It wasn’t about giving up hope. It was about giving myself — and our family — peaceful closure when we’d need it most.Whether you’re living with an illness, caring for an aging parent, or just want to ease your family’s burden someday, here are the small steps that brought us peace.📌What to Prepare🔹Talk about your wishes — burial or cremation
It seems simple, but many families never ask each other. Do you want to be buried or cremated? A cemetery or staying close to home? Knowing this ahead of time prevents confusion or regret.🔹Make a clear will
I made sure my will was clear and up to date, so they wouldn’t have to fight over money or wonder what I wanted.🔹Check your life insurance & beneficiaries
I checked my life insurance and made sure the right people were named. I kept the details in a safe place they could find.🔹 Write down your funeral or celebration of life wishes
I wrote down my wishes for my funeral or celebration of life — what I wanted, what I didn’t want.🔹Talk about the urn
I talked to my wife about what kind of urn I wanted. I wanted it to feel peaceful, not cold — so she wouldn’t have to guess.🔹Write simple letters for your family
I wrote simple letters for my family to read after I was gone, so they’d always hear my words when they needed them.🔹 Have gentle conversations now
I talked with my kids and family so they wouldn’t be surprised by any of it. It wasn’t about giving up — it was about giving himself and our family peaceful closure, so they could get back to their lives without spending too much time stuck in mourning.🌿 One Small Step at a Time
You don’t have to do it all today. Even one small step gives your family calm when they’ll need it most.
